About Next Day Pharmacy

Nextdaypharmacy is a registered online Pharma Business run by authorised pharmacists and practitioners to provide simple, reliable and affordable private healthcare conveniently to the patients across the UK.

The Problem

The client of Next-day-pharmacy wanted to develop a full-fledged website with the focus on delivering online consultation and medicines for patients with certain health issues and illnesses.

The client needed a web platform where they can fully manage their online consultation services, customer data, medicines orders and the delivery in one place.

The Challenge

The challenge before us was to develop an online web platform which includes an online consultation wherein the customers’ needed to choose the treatment from the given options and order medicines. Before any purchases can be completed, the customer required to go through a series of questions, where they can respond either saying YES or NO. These answers will decide on whether the customer can purchase/order the medicines. To enable this there should be a login area for customers, integrate cart and payment gateway.

The Solution

We worked with them to design and develop the website with a particular focus on to ensuring their intended service works smooth.

• We developed a fully functional & high quality website with an efficient online Platform to consult and order medicines.
• Created a 3 in 1 back-end platform for the client to monitor operations across their 3 websites.
• Created login area for customers to create accounts and login.
• We included all the features, an e-commerce website needed such as;
  • Treatment listing
  • Check orders
  • Create invoices
  • View the list of customers who logged in
  • Generate sales/products/customers reports and
  • Add promotions
  • Click and order facility
  • Delivery and Returns
• We created an option where the questions can be auto-generated when a customer clicks on a particular treatment. The client has the option to add/delete/edit the groups of questions related to the particular illness.
• Integrated the registration details and quick verify logo for customers/wholesalers to check the authenticity of the pharmacy.
• We enabled the option for registered practitioners to prescribe medicines following the treatment conditions entered by the customer/patient.
• The back-end system was programmed using advanced PHP Language and Laravel Framework.
• The web application was developed using JQuery, HTML and Ajax.
• We integrated the Realex /Elavon Payment Gateways, and card payments through VISA, MasterCard, Maestro and American Express to accept payments in a secure manner and at the click of a button.
• Developed a mobile app to reach customers more effectively. Integrated App download links on the website to enable customers to easily download their app from Google Play store or Apple store.
• We made it easy to securely store and archive all the data fully encrypted and GDPR compliant.
